Fingerings for Tinwhistle: The whistle is an instrument related to the flute. It's a lot of fun to play and not terribly difficult to learn. (They say that a whistle player's fingers are like lightning; they rarely strike the same place twice. When you can get your fingers to strike the same place twice, then you're a good player. Or, at least you're on your way to being a good player.) This page also contains complete instructions on what it takes to be a great musician.

New Fingering Additions. More fun things to do with your fingers! This page will grow as I collect more whistle fingerings. Check out the new C-nat; I really like that fingering. It sounds good.

What with the price of gas,
you'd be better off staying home and
playing your whistle anyway.

It's a long, long way
from Clare to here.

It seems to be the nature of the Internet to be
constantly UNDER CONSTRUCTION. This page is
no different. I try to update it fairly regularly, or at least as
often as there is news on the tinwhistle fingering front.
Check back again, or send me some e-mail
and let me know what you'd like to see
added to this page.
